Next Phase Strength™ is a 1-hour, individually tailored strength training program in Rehab Associates Newark-Heath clinic designed for:

Each session is customized to the individual, using research-driven, evidence-based principles to ensure exercises are appropriate, progressive, and aligned with personal goals and physical abilities. The program emphasizes:​

What to Expect

Your Initial Assessment 

Before you lift a single weight, we conduct a comprehensive 30-45-minute evaluation:

  • Movement screening – How you squat, hinge, push, pull, and rotate

  • Strength testing – Baseline measurements of key muscle groups

  • Postural analysis – Identifying imbalances and compensation patterns

  • Goal discussion – What you want to achieve and why it matters

  • Medical history – Any limitations, past injuries, or considerations

  • Program design – Your custom roadmap to stronger

Your First Session Preview: We'll discuss exactly what your program will look like and answer all your questions.

Your Strength Sessions

What happens during each session (60 minutes):

Warm-Up & Activation (5-10 minutes)
Prime your nervous system and activate key muscle groups

Strength Training (45-50 minutes)
Progressive resistance training tailored to your program:

  • Compound movements (squat, hinge, press, pull variations)

  • Unilateral exercises for balance and symmetry

  • Core stability and anti-rotation work

  • Sport or activity-specific movements

  • Proper form coaching and technique refinement

Cooldown & Mobility (5 minutes)
Restore range of motion and reduce post-workout soreness

Home Program Review
Exercises and activities to reinforce your progress between sessions
