GETTING STARTED
The basics
Next Phase Fitness is a suite of cash-pay wellness programs from Rehab Associates, designed for healthy, active people who want to move, feel, and perform better. What sets it apart is the clinical foundation behind it: every program is designed and overseen by a licensed physical therapist and delivered by a Rehab Associates' qualified coach.
A gym hands you equipment. A studio hands you a class. We start by understanding your body. Because our programs are designed and overseen by licensed physical therapists, your plan is informed by an actual movement evaluation — not a one-size-fits-all template. You get individualized programming, expert attention to form and safety, and progress that's measured, not guessed.
It's built for people who are healthy and ready to invest in their fitness, including:
Active professionals who want to train smarter
Fitness enthusiasts looking for an expert edge
Aging adults focused on strength, balance, and independence
People who've finished rehab and want to keep building
Recreational and competitive athletes
If you have a current injury or a condition that needs treatment, that's a different (and important) conversation — we offer complimentary initial assessments without a referral.
Everyone begins the same way: with an Initial Assessment. You book your time, meet one-on-one with a physical therapist for a movement and readiness evaluation, and leave with a personalized program recommendation. From there, you choose the package that fits and begin. The $50 assessment fee is credited in full toward your first package.
THE PROGRAMS
What we offer
The full suite includes six programs:
Stretch — practitioner-assisted stretching to improve flexibility and range of motion
Strength — individualized strength training programmed to your body and goals
Balance — fall-prevention and active-aging training to keep you steady and independent
Nutrition — one-on-one nutrition coaching
Recovery — advanced recovery modalities to help you bounce back and feel your best
Sport Performance — sport-specific training for recreational and competitive athletes
We're rolling the programs out in phases so each one launches with the right staffing and quality, beginning with Strength and adding the others over time. Availability grows quarter by quarter. The fastest way to know what's open today is to ask us when you book your assessment, or reach out to the clinic — we'll tell you exactly what's currently running and what's coming next.
Absolutely — and many people do. Pairing programs (for example, Strength and Stretch, or adding Nutrition) tends to produce the best results, and we offer combo packages that make it more affordable to do so. Your coach can recommend a combination based on your assessment and goals.
Yes. Your goals can evolve, and your program should evolve with them. If you'd like to change focus — say, from Strength to Sport Performance — just let your coach know. Depending on the change, a brief re-assessment with a physical therapist may be helpful to keep your new program safe and well-targeted.
ASSESSMENT & SAFETY
About your initial assessment
Because a safe, effective program depends on understanding how your body actually moves today. The assessment lets a licensed therapist screen for risks and tailor your training so you get results without getting hurt. Skipping it would mean guessing — and guessing is exactly what separates a clinical-grade program from a generic one.
In about 30–45 minutes, one-on-one with a physical therapist, we evaluate:
Posture and alignment
Range of motion across major joints
Flexibility of the major muscle groups
Joint mobility and any restrictions
Movement patterns (squat, hinge, reach, gait)
Pain or restriction mapping
Your goals and lifestyle
Medical history and safety screening
You leave with a clear baseline and a program recommendation matched to your goals.
The Initial Assessment is a flat $50. When you enroll in any Next Phase program package, that $50 is credited in full toward your first package — so starting the right way effectively costs you nothing extra.
Your Initial Assessment is performed by a licensed physical therapist — the same clinical professionals behind Rehab Associates' rehabilitation care. From there, your ongoing program is delivered by a Rehab Associates qualified coach, following the plan built from your assessment. That clinical foundation is the heart of Next Phase Fitness and the reason we can call it clinical-grade wellness.
PRICING & PACKAGES
What it costs & how to pay
Pricing varies by program and how you'd like to participate — single sessions, multi-session packages, or ongoing memberships. We'll walk you through current rates at your assessment so you can choose what fits your goals and budget. Because each program is individualized, we'll recommend a structure that makes sense for you.
Yes. We've built in several ways to save:
Multi-session packages — buy several sessions at a better per-session rate
Combo packages — pair programs like Strength, Stretch, and Nutrition for a bundled price
Couples and family pricing — meaningful discounts when you train with a partner or family member
Memberships — ongoing options for those who want consistency
Ask us about current package and discount details when you book.
Because accountability is a powerful thing. People who train alongside a partner or family member tend to stick with it and see better results. Our couples and family tiers reward you for bringing someone along — it's better for your progress and easier on the wallet.
Yes — Next Phase Fitness is a cash-pay (self-pay) wellness service, intentionally kept separate from insurance-billed therapy. You pay directly for the programs you choose, with no insurance authorization or referral needed.

VISITING & SCHEDULING
Getting here & what to expect
All Next Phase Fitness programs are delivered at our Rehab Associates clinic in Newark–Heath, Ohio.
It depends on the program and the package you choose. Stretch and Strength sessions commonly run 25–30 or 50–60 minutes; nutrition and recovery sessions vary. Your coach will set session length as part of your personalized plan.
Comfortable clothing you can move in and supportive athletic shoes. Bring water and any relevant health information (current medications, recent imaging, or notes about past injuries). For your assessment, arriving a few minutes early to complete intake helps us make the most of your time.
You can request your Initial Assessment through our Start Now page, and we'll confirm your time by email. Once you're enrolled, your coach will help you set a session rhythm that fits your schedule, just contact the clinic — we ask for reasonable notice so we can offer the slot to someone else.
