Responsibilities
​

Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric patients within a school-based environment.
-
Conduct assessments to determine occupational therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
-
Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and progress monitoring.
-
Implement therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
-
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
-
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.

Stay updated on best practices and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy through professional development activities.

Qualifications
​
-
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
-
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Occupational Therapist in the state of Ohio.

Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting.
-
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Knowledge of special education laws and regulations related to therapy services in schools (preferred).

Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet the needs of diverse pediatric patients.
