Center Coordinator of Clinical Education
INTRODUCTION: Jennifer is a native of Northeast Ohio and has been with our practice since relocating to central Ohio in 2002. She has a strong background in pediatrics, school-based PT services, adaptive equipment and clinical education. Jennifer also provides home-based therapy services as well as recommendations for home modifications. As our Center Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE) she arranges placements of PT/PTA and OTA students.
CURRENT PRACTICE: Jennifer serves individuals aged birth through adulthood along with their families in a variety of settings. Currently, she serves preschools and school-aged programming in Newark and western Licking County. She also serves students and adults affiliated with Starlight Programs in Zanesville, Ohio. Jennifer is also involved as a course instructor for courses in Radiology/Imaging and Pediatrics in the Ohio State University’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
EDUCATION: Jennifer received her B.S. degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology, from Ohio University in 1999. She received her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 2002 after completing clinical affiliations in pediatrics and adult acute care in central Ohio. Jennifer regularly attends continuing education courses and annual conferences such as the Combined Sections Meeting of the APTA, annual conference for the OPTA, as well as the Ohio Institute for OT/PT School-Based Services.
