Janelle Gant

INTRODUCTION: Janelle is originally from Newark and a fourth generation graduate from Newark High School . She has been with our practice since graduating from the Physical Therapy program at the Ohio State University . Janelle specializes in care for the pediatric and adult MRDD populations, but has had experience working with a wide variety of diagnoses and patient populations. She is a clinical instructor and a member of the marketing team.

EDUCATION: Janelle attended Ohio University in Athens where she completed her pre-professional curriculum. She was then accepted into the Physical Therapy program at The Ohio State University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor’s degree in 1998. Her clinical affiliations included experience in long-term care, outpatient physical therapy, early intervention and school-based services. Since graduation, Janelle has completed almost all of her continuing education courses with an emphasis on evaluation and treatment of various pediatric disorders and attends the annual Ohio School-Based conference. She has much experience in assessment for home adaptations, mobility and adaptive equipment.
